THE CITY GUARDIANS

Guardians magnify the Health, Attack or Marching Speed/troop training speed of troops within a city and also increase the production of resources. The Guardian is built on a certain stone positioned next to the castle and the Guardian is upgraded like other buildings with levels corresponding to the benefits they deliver. Guardians cannot be deconstructed but can be replaced by summoning the other Guardians. But for you to be able to summon the guardians, you must unlock them using stones. Guardians may be personalized with a name. This requires purchase of a Renaming Ritual at the store.
REQUIREMENTS
WOOD GUARDIAN
A towering beast of timber and tightly controlled fury, the Weald Fenrir stalks the borders of his territory. His stolid presence inspires fortitude in allies and terror in foes. When he lifts his paws, vines and flowers spring up beneath the shadow, and leave terrible gashes in his enemies.

ORE GUARDIAN
Magma flows in the Iron Indrik’s veins and where other creatures would have a streaming mane, the Indrik wears flame. Black smoke billows and lava drips from his maw. Spears cannot pierce his hematite hide. Its fiery retaliation makes it a difficult beast to befriend and a dangerous enemy.

FOOD GUARDIAN
The Viand Kraken rises from the depths, a carapace covering its backside and its many-fanged mouth jutting from a blunt face. Ink-black eyes dot the sides of the creature’s head, and arm-like tentacles spring from below the head. The murky water of its pool seems far deeper than any know; investigating the pond enrages the Kraken.

STONE GUARDIAN
The Emet Golem is a hulking creation of stone and crystal dimly representing a human. The Golem is a motionless observer to all around it, save for its crystalline eyes. When given orders, the Emet Golem carries out its duties unquestioningly. Its stone body makes it an excellent training dummy and stalwart defender.

SET BONUS IN ACTIVE GUARDIANS (LEVEL 12)
SET BONUS
When all 4 of the guardians are unlocked within a city the set bonus is applied. The set bonus can be very powerful and conveys the following benefits:
- The active guardian has almost 50% increase in their effect on troops. For example, if you have all 4 guardians unlocked in a city and your active guardian is a level 12 Ore Guardian instead of getting a 65% bonus to your troops attack your troops would get a 107% bonus to attack.
- Having all 4 guardians summoned within a city also allows you to receive 1/2 (50%) the benefits to troops from inactive guardians. So, assuming your ore guardian is the active one and all 3 inactive guardians are level 12, in addition to the 65% (and additional 50 % increase) attack, your troops would also get a 17.5% attack from the wood guardian, 17.5 % marching speed increase, and 125% decrease in troop training time.
- *Note* Your guardians don't need to be level 12 that was just for example but you will need all 4 summoned in 1 city to get the set bonus for that city. See samples below.
